El proceso chipriota

Hace ya unas semanas dinos a conocer la lista de los 60 candidatos a representar a Chipre en el próximo Festival de Eurovisión que tendrá lugar el próximo mes de Mayo en la capital de Austria.

El pasado fin de semana tuvo lugar la primera de las 7 audiciones. El jurado compuesto por Alex Panayi (1995 y 2000), Despina Olympiou (2013) y Elena Patroklou (1991) eligió a cuatro para pasar a la siguiente ronda. 

La primera audición la han formado Eva Diva, Nikolas Leventis, Aimily Charalampous, Nikolas Mavromichalis, Christodoula Tsaggara, Ifigenia Loukaidou featuring Lyrical Eye, Iosif Charalampous, Elena Kousi y Maria Evangelou. De todos ellos, sólo 4 han pasado a la siguiente ronda.
· Eva Diva – Come and fight for freedom
· Aimily Charalampous – Right in
· Iosif Charalampous – I wanna dance (I say tempo)
· Maria Evangelou – Still

En cualquier caso, el proceso de selección que llevará a cabo la televisión chipriota, será el siguiente.
· 07/12: Audición show 1
· 14/12: Audición show 2
· 21/12: Audición show 3

· 26/12: Audición show 4
· 28/12: Audición show 5
· 04/01: Audición show 6
· 11/01: Audición show 7
· 18/01: Eurochallenge 1 – Show 8 (20 candidatos)
· 25/01: Eurochallange 2 – Show 9 (10 candidatos)
· 01/02: Grand Final – Show 10 (6 candidatos)



The Cypriot process

Several weeks ago, we announced the list of the 60 candidates to represent Cyprus in the forthcoming editon of Eurovision Song Contest that will be held next May in the capital of Austria.

Last weekend was held the first of the 7 auditions. A special jury headed by Alex Panayi (1995 and 2000), Despina Olympiou (2013) and Elena Patroklou (1991) selected the 4 entries that will pass to the next phase. These are the four first finalists.

The first audition has been formed by Eva Diva, Nikolas Leventis, Aimily Charalampous, Nikolas Mavromichalis, Christodoula Tsaggara, Ifigenia Loukaidou featuring Lyrical Eye, Iosif Charalampous, Elena Kousi and Maria Evangelou. From them, only 4 of them have passed to the next round.

Anyway, the selection process that the Cypriot National Broadcaster will made will be this:

· 11/01: Audition show 7
· 18/01: Eurochallenge 1 – Show 8 (20 acts)
· 25/01: Eurochallange 2 – Show 9 (10 acts)
· 01/02: Grand Final – Show 10 (6 acts)
